In-flight meals

As a full service airline, we offer you either a hot meal or a light snack on board, depending on where you’re flying, in which class and the time of day. Complimentary drinks are available throughout your flight.

Choose from our renowned à la carte menu and the First crew will prepare your meal to order and serve it at a time that suits you.

Choose from our extensive menu, from four-course dining to light salads and snacks, all complemented with fine wines and Champagne.

The menu offers a selection of hot and cold dishes, perfectly suited to the time of day. On early flights, of 60 minutes or more, choose between a full English breakfast or a Continental breakfast. A full complimentary bar, including Champagne, is part of the service.

On all of our European flights you can enjoy breakfast with coffee and tea. Complimentary drinks and snacks are served throughout the rest of the day.

On flights to and from London Heathrow of up to 1½ hours, we offer a complimentary drinks service mid-morning and mid-afternoon.

On our early morning flights you can enjoy a hot breakfast with coffee and tea. Complimentary drinks and snacks are served throughout the rest of the day.

On Domestic flights to and from London Heathrow, we offer a complimentary drinks service mid-morning and mid-afternoon.

If you have special dietary requirements, you can let us know in advance and we will do what we can to provide you with a suitable meal. You can request a special or medical meal through Manage My Booking.

British Airways does not include peanut products within aircraft meals or snacks in any class except on longhaul flights to/from the Far East where peanut satay may be included on the menu.

Please be aware that other passengers may bring their own peanut products on board.

Other types of nut may be included on the longhaul aircraft menu, for example as snacks in Club World and First.

All British Airways aircraft carry a comprehensive medical kit which includes medication for the treatment of anaphylaxis. However, if you suffer from an allergy, you should carry your own medication as prescribed by your doctor and ensure it is readily available whilst on board. Parents/guardians/travel companions are expected to administer treatment if this is required.
